Ok Folks, it is still summer and the river runs nice an warm throughout September. I can not explain how relaxing a day on the river is. You have to experience it. Although it is currently near the end of summer, there is still time for a relaxing day trip to the Delaware Water Gap for a little tubing and perhaps a visit to historic Lambertville NJ/New Hope Pa.
Generally speaking you can go tubing from mid May through early October ( weekends after the first week in September - call ahead for details).
The river temperature averages in the high 70's to 80 degrees and has an average depth of 2-4 ft.
Available rentals include, tubes, rafts canoes and kayaks and trips down the river take about 3-4 hours to complete.
