The Jersey Cape is one of New Jerseys treasures with sights and activities for everyone in the family. It is only a 3-4 hour drive from New York City along the Garden State parkway and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia via the Atlantic City Expressway. The Statute of Liberty was a gift to the United states from the people of France on October 28, 1886. The statute was assembled in France on July 4, 1884 and later disassembled, crated and shipped to the US after the completion of it's pedestal on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. NJ Formula 1 Races Are Coming to Weehawken NJ

NJ Formula 1 Races Are Coming to New Jersey sometime next year in June (2013).  Weekawken NJ will host the Formula 1 race called the "Grand Prix of America" right here in the heart of the Hudson Waterfront (NJ Gold Coast). It is planned that the race will take place over a period of 3 days.  Track( roadway) preparations are already underway to prepare the racecourse for the Formula 1 cars  that travel at speeds in excess of 200mph. It is currently planned that the races will be held here in NJ for a period of 10 years.
