This time of year in New Jersey is perfect for spending time on the farm.  Many farms offer hayrides and mazes in addition to fresh picks.  So why not take advantage of it all and go pick some pumpkins at a NJ farm near you today.

1. Coombs Barnyard

20 Route 77, Elmer, NJ

Coombs Barnyard is run by sisters Jennifer Coombs-Kelly and Amanda Coombs-Shimp, who are the ninth generation on the family farm. The barnyard hosts a variety of fall family fun activities beginning at the end of September including Flashlight Fridays in their corn maze (not scary), and Barnyard Bashes which consist of hayrides, pumpkin picking, barrel train rides, and visits with the barnyard animals.

2. Creamy Acres

448 Lincoln Mill Road, Mullica Hill, NJ

Nestled between hilly fields and dairy cow pastures, Creamy Acres has been around since 1968. Their opening day this season is Saturday, September 21st. Their fall festivities include wagon rides, pumpkin picking in the pumpkin patch, a kiddie corn maze and so much more! Looking for something a little edgier? Creamy Acres is also home to Night of Terror, New Jersey’s scariest haunted attraction which begins on September 20th and runs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through November 2nd.

3. Duffield’s Farm

280 Chapel Heights Road, Sewell, NJ

Every Saturday, take a drive out to Duffield’s Farm with your friends and family to enjoy all of their fall activities! Take a hayride through their scenic farmland and breathe fresh country air while enjoying a warm apple cider doughnut from their bakery. Starting in mid-to-late August, visitors will be able to pick your own apples. Pumpkins will be available a little bit later in the season.

4. Emery’s Berry Farm

346 Long Swamp Road, New Egypt, NJ

Emery’s is a 60 acre farm that is dedicated to growing blueberries, sunflowers, and pumpkins, in addition to two corn mazes with a Who-Dun-It Clue Game! Make sure you stop by their Farm Market and Country Bakery to pick up some delicious homemade pie!

5. Hill Creek Farms

1611 State Highway 45,  Mullica Hill, NJ

Are you looking for a fun, educational, and downright delicious outing with your family? Then stop by Hill Creek Farms! Their idyllic 24-acre local produce farm has two huge apple orchards with over 17,000 apple trees, plus an orchard of plums, Asian pears, and nectarines. Their fall season starts on September 9th with their Apple Kick-Off Festival and continues through Halloween. Guests are invited to take advantage of their u-pick orchards, stroll through the pumpkin patch and take advantage of their tented picnic area.

6. Indian Acres Tree Farm

111 Tuckerton Road, Medford, NJ

Features wagon rides through 150 acre farm and shopping and 2 and 3 acre corn mazes.

7. Johnson’s Corner Farm

133 Church Road, Medford, NJ

Features hayrides, apple picking and an assortment of vegetable harvests as well as an animal farm that children are sure to enjoy.

8. Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm

2691 Monmouth Road, Jobstown, NJ

Features a 5 acre corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin and apple picking as well as wine tasting for adult visitors.

9. Maugeri Farms

1991 Oldmans Creek Road, Woolwich Township, NJ

Featires tractor rides, pumkin patch and plenty of childrens activities

10. Mood’s Farm Market

901 Bridgeton Pike, Mullica Hill, NJ

Features fruit picking, pumpkin picking and hayrides

11. Pope’s Gardens

1146 Old White Horse Pike, Waterford Township, NJ

Features a  10 with over 800 varieties of perennials and a large petting zoo.

12. Russo’s Fruit and Vegetable Farm

Corner of Medford Lakes & Carranza Roads, Tabernacle, NJ

Features pumpkin picking, apple picking and a tractor ride to their corn maze.

13. Springdale Farm

1638 South Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ

Features  a corn maze with flashlight fridays for night time exploration and campfire hayrides
