Filmmaking School in New Providence, New Jersey

Filmmaking is fun. No lectures here – the best way to learn is by doing. All of our classes are limited to 12 students and everyone is encouraged to “get their hands dirty”. Screenwriters write, actors act, editors edit, and filmmakers shoot films using our professional equipment.

NJ Film School opened in 2009 and, since then, we have worked with over 1,500 students creating over 1,000 films. We teach Kids (5th through 8th grade), Teens (9th through 12th grade), and Adults (18 to 80).

We are located in New Providence, New Jersey (minutes from Routes 22, 24, 78, and the Short Hills Mall). Our 3,700 square foot studio is handicapped accessible and provides plenty of room for both instruction and production.
