Chatsworth Cranberry Festival

Visit the 31th Annual Cranberry Festival Celebrate  New Jersey's cranberry harvest this year. This year the 31th Annual Cranberry Festival will be held October 18th and 19th in downtown Chatsworth NJ.  The festival hours are corm 9am to 4pm each day.

There will be an Antique and Classic Automobile Show from 9am to 4pm on Sunday show with over 100 automobiles. In addition there will be over 35 Antique Dealers with articles from the period. Don't forget that breakfast is being served at the firehouse :)

NJ Cranberry Harvest

The New Jersey cranberry harvest is the third largest in the United States. So New Jersey is a major cranberry producer. Cranberries are harvested between September and October. There are two methods (wet & dry) for harvesting cranberries.

If you are interested in touring a cranberry farm consider visiting Whitesbog Village. It is a historic district and encompasses 3,000 acres of bogs. It is like a microcosm of of the pinelands in NJ. Visit the Whitesbog Village Website for more information. This year the 29th Annual Cranberry Festival in Chatsworth NJ takes place on October 20th & 21st, 2012.
