Cape May NJ – National Historic Landmark

Cape May NJ is one of only 5 national Historic Landmark Towns and has the designation of America's Oldest Seashore Resort. It was "the destination" for the well to do folks in the 1800's and is still very popular in the 21 century. Being designated as a National Historic Town explains why the original Victorian charm of the town is well preserved with hundreds of its grand summer homes having been restored and preserved.

A visit to Cape may is a must. It offers something for everyone to enjoy from the Victorian splendor to the beautiful beaches. Traveling to Cape May is easy by car, about 3 1/2 hours south of New york City and a little over an hour from Philadelphia. Ity is real easy.. just take the Garden State Parkway south to the end at exit #1.

The Jersey Cape is one of New Jerseys treasures with sights and activities for everyone in the family. It is only a 3-4 hour drive from New York City along the Garden State parkway and 1.5 hours from Philadelphia via the Atlantic City Expressway.
