Are you planning a day trip? Consider a few hours on the farm apple picking in NJ. It is educational, fun and good for the stomach. New Jersey is the "garden State" and we have many wonderful farms that provide top quality produce as well as farm visits. One such farm is the Terhune Orchard located in Princeton NJ. Here you can pick your own apples, Pumpkins strawberries and more ( depending upon the season .. of course) The Terhune farm is a fully functional farm that has a cozy shop where you can purchase fresh produce grown on the 150 acre farm as well as fresh baked goods,cheeses, milk, jams , jellies, cider and more. They grow about 35 crops and even have flowers and plants for sale.
